Abstract

Pharmacotherapy for neuropathic pain has advanced significantly over the past 20 years. In the treatment of chronic pain, it is necessary to consider the balance between efficacy and safety, rather than evaluating them separately. The efficacy and safety of mirogabalin for neuropathic pain have been demonstrated in numerous clinical trials. It has been emphasized that mirogabalin strikes a balance between efficacy and safety and has the potential to serve as an alternative treatment option for neuropathic pain.
